Bezurk (now Wego)
I worked with the chaps at Bezurk (now wego) for six months. Initially hired as a Ruby on Rails developer, it was decided that my front-end skills would be more valuable: user interface design with XHTML/CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript techniques using JQuery.
Much of my time was spent on the affiliates program, working on some of the highest traffic sites in the Asia Pacific region: MSN, Yahoo, Asiarooms, Yellow Pages and News.com.au.
I also rebuilt the bezurk.com homepage; reprogramming the Javascript from scratch and using web standards. The result was a page that was reduced in size by two thirds, but with improved functionality. This was assimilated into the new wego site.
